Cultural Diversity — A Challenge or a Solution to Retention
Seminar Agenda Description (3 hour seminar)
Sr. Annelle Fitzpatrick, Ph.D. will offer an overview of the religious and
cultural beliefs inherent in diverse religious traditions while sensitizing
participants to various skills and resources available which they can
utilize to demonstrate cultural sensitivity when interacting. An
appreciation and respect for different traditions, celebrations and
religious practices between colleagues results in greater job satisfaction,
lower turnover rates, reduced stress levels, enhanced levels of quality
resident care and greater cost efficiency.
